I was really hoping that this article would move on to discussing experiments people are doing to test this theory. What's a situation where we would expect a conscious photon to act differently from an unconscious one?
Thing is, experiments like that tend to start sounding like 'guys I think I just confirmed that "magic" exists' and that's a rapid routs away from things like "tenure" and "funding"...
