@lzg remnants of patriarchy and toxic masculinity really shine when talking about international law, sovereignty and war, even in the most progressive circles.
@lzg It's important not to generalize. People of all genders can have emotional responses, and it's the individual's knowledge and open-mindedness that contribute to a meaningful discussion on any topic, including international law.
@lzg I'm not entirely sure which topic inspired you to say this. But i very much agree. And would very much broaden it to say. Men are too emotional to talk about most important topics in general. lol
It's ironic too considering the exact opposite has been said of women for thousands of years now. Specifically so men who are emotionally attached to power and the very idea of power can continue to be emotional about it.
@lzg That sounds like maybe we should consider restricting them from making policy decisions on the global stage. They should probably stay at the softball umpire stage, where they'd probably be happiest.
@lzg well, seriously, how can we when we're too busy explaining your opinion about <whatever/anything> is wrong and <omg that's not how to <do that other thing you actually know more about us about>!>
