@djlink I recently switched to version 8 for work, what's the reason for wanting to stay on 7? I was annoyed I had to install it from outside the app store but not sure the difference other than that

@sean_earle there's no support for local vaults anymore, also I have a perpetual license for 7, now they force subscription. Other than that I only heard that 8 is slower than 7 but I never tried so can't confirm it.

@djlink @sean_earle Not sure I’d say it’s slower, but it’s definitely different. It’s now an Electron app so it’s a bit bloated compared to a native app. I’ve never used the Windows versions though, so I can’t compare. I’ve been fine with the new version this far. Nothing special, nothing horrible. I feel safer knowing it’s actively worked on and hardened though …unlike the old version. Also really wanting to adopt passkeys everywhere as soon as possible.
