Work on the COSMIC Text Editor is progressing nicely. If you want to help out, we need translations to be filled in. Copy the i18n/en/cosmic_edit.ftl file, edit it, and send it to me any way you want.
@soller it’s looking solid. Is it going (or have a method) to cover other items such as terraform, dockerfiles, etc? Or just common programming languages?
@bashfulrobot If you mean syntax highlighting, popular languages are built in. Here is a Dockerfile for the redoxer project. There are lots of syntax themes to choose from as well, the default is gruvbox-dark
@bashfulrobot I'm not certain on potential plugin support at this time. We aren't trying to replicate all IDE functionality, but are trying to offer more than a standard built-in editor.
@soller understood. Love what I’m seeing, but I tend to do a lot of work in the cloud/k8s space. Generally looking to replace vscode without having to maintain a vim config. 😂
@soller@soller sorry I don't know anything about programming. But I would really like the French language to be at the top on pop!os so that this distribution finally explodes in France (sorry, I'm being a fan boy)
