Loved “The Marvels” - it was the perfect follow up to both the original Captain Marvel movie, and the Ms Marvel series. Iman Vellani was wonderful in particular. Lots of laughs and some standout action sequences. Highly recommended, best MCU film in years.
@jamesthomson 💯% agree, “The Marvels” was the easily the best MCU movie since Shang Chi and precisely the experience I’ve been hoping for, full stop. They did Ms. Marvel right, excellent chemistry among all the leads. This story has all the feels. Run–don’t walk–to the theater. Also, don’t leave before the credits end, it’s worth it.
@jamesthomson damn that was good. My head canon was spot on on about a few things which have been on my mind since Wandavision. Carol’s “friend” should get the shippers going big time.
@jamesthomson I loved it, too! Was very entertaining, and sets things up for whats coming. And boy howdy that Loki S2 finale amirite?!? Things are weird
@jamesthomson Good enough to go back to Marvel (other than Deadpool, natch)? I gave up when the multiverse stuff started creeping in. I think Dr. Strange was the last one we watched.
@jamesthomson Good to hear. From trailers it looks like Thor where the bad guy is more powerful than Thanos and just about revenge. And then gets defeated in one hour.
