With increasing work surveillance on my devices I’ve taken another step away by implemented an Exchange / Google Calendar Mirror for my work calendar. It had become quite frustrating having to use a work-locked device to see a single/merged calendar.

@chidgey How do you manage that sharing of your calendar outside of your work environment? Seems that would set some alarms off at the office...

@mikeneumann There’s actually no way for them to know. The sync is performed by accessing the locally cached files by Outlook. Hence the application doesn’t handle authentication at all on the Office365 side, only the Google Calendar side. The only downside is I have to have a PC running Outlook open at all times to run the sync. I have RAM and CPU to spare on this Mac Studio, so that’s no issue for me.

@chidgey our corporate IT runs a pretty draconian ZScalar reverse proxy, but Google probably isn't on the block list. Depends if they like the traffic, I guess.
