Sat down at 9:00 this morning thinking I would start in to converting a bunch of slides/notes/course material from RMarkdown to Quarto and three and a half hours of yak-shaving later I have made no progress whatsoever and instead find myself far, far down a rabbit hole wondering if it’s feasible to write something that will parse the AST of the files so that I can systematically make the many required adjustments. (To be clear, it absolutely is not.)
