Everyone talks about the five stages of grief being denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

For me, I seem to go through them in a different order: denial, depression, bargaining and anger simultaneously, and then acceptance.

@Monsterlady I don't think it's actually an order that people go in. You sort of just weave in and out of all 5 until you reach a state where you're mostly in acceptance.

@ZombieGopher That seems to be the case right now

@Monsterlady Reached mostly acceptance? Or still weaving? :P

@ZombieGopher Sometimes, but then I relapse and fall back.

@Monsterlady that's normal too 🙂

@ZombieGopher I think I've relapsed the last two days.

@Monsterlady @ZombieGopher The weird thing about grief is that it can always come back with full force almost like no time has passed to really blunt it.

Example my grandmother has been gone for well over a decade and there will be days where it just hits me so freaking hard I can barely breathe. Then next day life will be fine again.

@belghast @ZombieGopher I hear you. Sometimes I swing back into days where I miss my nana even though she's been gone that long too.
