There's no such thing as "low-carbon" fossil fuels. All fossil fuels are made of hydrocarbons, and all hydrocarbons release carbon when you burn them. Let's start calling immoral marketing stunts and outright lies by their name.
"At the end of the day, remember, it is the demand that will decide and dictate what sort of energy source will help meet the growing global energy requirements" - sure, just like it's demand for heroin that keeps heroin dealers in business. Demand alone doesn't legitimize business practices. Otherwise we should all make and sell sandwiches out of our crap - after all, 10 billion flies in the world surely can't be wrong about what tastes good.
