@al3x I'm very happy with https://micro.blog/. $5/month buys me everything I want. I've been self-hosting for years, but I like not having to worry about the tech stack anymore, so this is it now. Good community, too! @manton can tell you more, I think. ;)
If you like your weblog hosting service a bit weird (in a good way), check out https://omg.lol — it's ace and has a weblog component, among many other good things. Surprisingly useful stuff by @prami.
PS: I like that I can just crack open the MarsEdit app (https://redsweater.com/marsedit/) and hammer out a post w/o having to worry about git/ assets/ hosting/ etc. Micro.blog is great in that regard, has its own apps, and a good web UI. (I just happen to prefer writing in #MarsEdit.)
