i'm really getting thoughtful about all the great responses to this. how to incorporate these learnings into livecoding communities and make sure that anyone who wants to experience livecoding can do so in an inclusive and welcoming way
@aldroid Nice! It seems some are talking about 'competitive' demoscene style live coding, others about improvised music, maybe others about pre-prepared code-based performances
@yaxu that's a good point, what you want to do is going to be a component of what your blockers are. i have a vested interest in casual jams, and not creating undue expectations, but even so it can be daunting to a newcomer
