This video has no sound, I checked in on my Camponotus discolor ants today and they are spending tender moments with their newest members. Like the black carpenter ants they are already thinking of spring.
They all had fat gasters when they packed into the nest a few months ago. I've been giving them water and feeding three times a month or so instead of every other day or daily.
