@stroughtonsmith don’t forget the opposite pattern for the same multi select options apple uses in their alarm app. Non circled check marks are used allot for single selection in rows but not exclusively.
Took me minute to realise that it is the behavioural interaction that defines whether or not it is a multi v single selection (aka radio v checkbox) not how it looks — this is fine. 🔥
@stroughtonsmith Thanks, I think you are right. That circular checkmark for selections in table views or grids is also very common in android and probably has been for a long time.
@stroughtonsmith one thing that always struck me as quirky with iOS was lack of radio buttons and switches replacing checkboxes. I thought those controls were pretty well thought out
