No IMA Meeting this week. COVID in our house after avoiding it for so many years.
Likely exposure at work due to irresponsible young adult coworkers and business owner despite wife's masking. ERs report high traffic and wait times so I suspect there is an outbreak in NoVA. Meds prescribed due to high risk health.
COVID is not gone. Assume you have been exposed. Mask up, sanitize, stay 6 ft away when speaking to protect others. That person you are talking to may not be immune compromised but they may have someone at home who is.
Hoping to stay out of hospital here and better within a week.
@shelenn Sorry to hear that, and thanks for the heads up. The holidays may be over, but the legislature is in session, and that’s always a superspreader event for whatever crud is for going around.
@ClimateJenny Yes, we stayed clear of family contacts after quiet NYE at the beach. Now they have all had COVID in early January after attending holiday parties. Inova re-issued mask mandates by Jan 4. With Congress back in session and not masking, I have no doubt DC and MD will be impacted if not already.
