Do you think you could live with yourself if you were the developer who hard-coded the "Today only! 24-hour Flash Sale!" header message directly into Udemy's immutable static HTML?
@CodingItWrong There was a shop on the plaza in Taos, New Mexico that sold little figurines and stamped tin electrical outlet covers and such. They had a "Going out of business! Everything must go!" sign in the window for years. I asked about it at one point and was told that the type of person who would shop in that store would not be the type of person who would be around long enough to realize that the sale has been going on for years.
