Work in progress: a Tele Deluxe with a neck made by Metatonal Music, fretted in a 24-to-the-2/1 just intonation tuning.

@morecowbell Yeah, the octave's split into 24 steps instead of 12...but the distribution of the steps is a combination of spiral-of-fifths with complementary otonalities and utonalities filling the gaps.

I've read in Genesis of a Music, but it's been a while--I'll have to go back to look for that!

@morecowbell I'll have to check that out!

When I first started thinking of this instrument, I was thinking primarily of harmony, and specifically the play of very-consonant intervals vs intervals close enough to generate difference-tones. I've been working with a delay network I've built in Max/MSP to allow building up changing harmonies and melodies from the slow introduction of single notes. Examples: https://snwv.bandcamp.com

@bthalpin @onezero tag on the case handle gives me goosebumps, I can smell the new case.
