I've been horribly busy these days with lots of trivial but time-consuming bureaucratic stuff, to the point I've been unable to work on #GPUSPH at all. Worse, I haven't even started working on my presentation for #SPHERIC2023 (the material is ready, since the article for the proceedings has been submitted already, so it's really just a matter of building the presentation)
I need to find some time to finish the release for GPUSPH v6 too, which is long overdue, not to talk about the website redesign …
I also wanted to create a #Fediverse profile for the project. I tried on fosstodon.org but for some unclear reason the application was rejected —which may not be that bad a thing, judging by some reports I've received on their moderation team.
So now I'm thinking of setting up a dedicated instance, which would require changing hosting provides, which wouldn't be a bad idea anyway —but of course in the mean time the original website languishes …
I'm thinking the simplest thing might be just switching to WordPress, but I wouldn't mind something more comprehensive (we could move the Discourse forum there too …)
I don't know what's worse here, the “choice paralysis” or the need for 36 hours days …
