ISO 3103 - this doesn't help in my original quest to find out how long a cup of tea is at the perfect drinking temperature.

@cdamian one of the source links is also interesting but not quite the answer.
I know from experience that a wide and shallow cup is a bad way to maintain temperature, and I think you never get more than 5 minutes of perfect temperature in any case.
(I disagree with the milk first bit here)

5 minutes sounds about right, even if that's a wide temperature range.
Since I'm a tea bag in a mug person, the milk first doesn't make any sense.
It also would mean that you have to vary the amount of tea depending on the amount of milk and your taste, that would be weird. You always need a full mug.
