@gvwilson you might also consider duckdb's spatial support, since duckdb can do lots of fun thing that SQLite can't, like reading from S3 or other DBs. https://duckdb.org/docs/extensions/spatial.html

Have you seen this post Greg? I know nothing about SpatiaLite but after skimming the post it seemed like it might be a good introduction.

@roytoo yes, that's one of the first hits when I search, but it's GUI-oriented and appears to be out of date with the latest SpatiaLite (?)
