@melissabeartrix (Serious answer for a change): I did once. Or that there wasn’t one for me anyway. Or that the whole concept of soulmates was bogus. After three unsuccessful marriages, that seemed a reasonable conclusion. Yet somehow I didn’t give up entirely.
And then, at the age of 54, I met her, online because she was 7000 kms away. Two and a half years later, I emigrated and we married. That was 17 years ago. We’re still happy and still completely right for each other. And now she can be a lesbian again! I may have to reappraise this soulmate thing.
