Gotta embed this toot since I can't quote-toot: lotta Australians giving ourselves credit for Melbourne's great public transport, but:
- there IS parking underneath the whole stadium precinct
- a lot of people who don't live near stations will drive in, park outside the city and take PT the rest of the way
- the weak spot in Melbourne's PT is buses, so a lot of people drove to train stations or took a bus planning to Uber home after the show
- but also, how many private jet trips are balanced out by roughly 90K people taking public transport, asking for a friend
