IcooIey, The most useful skill I learned in law school was how to extract information through directed questioning. Remarkable how evasive people are when they don’t want to talk about difficult/challenging subjects or just want to avoid admitting truths to themselves or others.
Or, if you find your self married to an academic, they cannot answer yes/no questions with a single word.“Did you buy milk?”
“Well, the store had four kinds of milk, plus milk adjacent liquids…”
“DID YOU BUY MILK? YES OR NO?”
