The lack of urgency on the spam attacks from @Gargron is really shocking. We’ve been asking for better moderation tooling and ways to plugin spam filters and more for years. Now there’s actual issues most of us are experiencing on smaller servers and they STILL don’t seem to prioritize it at @MastodonEngineering#Fediblockmeta#MastodonAdmin
@chiefgyk3d I completely agree with you, but I don't also expect anything in that area coming anytime soon, as long as they think that "hCaptcha" solves the problem.
But let's not forget, the Mastodon server is made for mastodon.social/.world and to further the Mastodon™️ brand. It is not a community-led project.
