what i did in the kitchen today haha sounds lame - i replaced the whole LED bulb fixture, that's it, unscrewed some screws and tore out some wires and attached em to something else and put screws in - but all done standing on my tiptoes on a stepladder, on the top where i don't think you're supposed to go, my wife holding me steady 'cause i was nervous, jamming a screwdriver to the roof. but it's done now and the sun is down and the test! - i turned on the lights and SO BRIGHT! very happy
