@OddDev Teams that I've worked on feel much more cohesive when we self manage our stand-ups with just "what you're working on" "any blockers" and just let things flow naturally.
When it devolves into going through every single card on a board 1 by 1, it's like a collaboration killer.
@jamigibbs@OddDev 100% so. Although even given perfect conditions, there seems to be a small group of people who just can’t understand the format, and will go on for 20 minutes about what they’ve been working on, even when it’s not relevant to anyone else. I never learnt how to best deal with that.
@jamigibbs@anderseknert@OddDev currently zoned out checking Mastodon while others discuss a random ticket and the entire process that has taken place to investigate the issue. Wish it was acceptable to drink this early while working.

@anderseknert 1000% this. Dealing with this now where our team goes 1 by 1 down the board and it is driving me insane. Have questions or blockers, mention it and wait until the end to discuss. Don’t hold everyone else hostage on the call so you can take 15 minutes to get clarification or ask a question.
