@BenRossTransit@failedLyndonLaRouchite@Alon Alon and I have already traded toots on the accuracy or inaccuracy of casualty figures. We do not agree. I found this report from an economist and statistician invited by the UN to analyze the data quite interesting.
@tobie1@failedLyndonLaRouchite@Alon It's extremely difficult to reconcile the high percentage of women & children reported by the Gaza MOH with Hamas fighters constituting between 20% (Hamas) and 40% (IDF) of the deaths.
On top of that, it seems that the IDF attacks have been more narrowly targeted in recent months due to improved intelligence & withdrawal of some troops. Current fight in Al Shifa hospital is an example.

When the Gaza MoH released detailed figures after post-Al Ahli skepticism of its numbers, there was a noticeable bump in the death toll among military-age men, but military age began around 15 or 16, not 18.
@BenRossTransit@failedLyndonLaRouchite In Israel people treat it as a massive failure because Israel cleared Al-Shifa already, so if there's Hamas there now then it means the IDF is unable to hold territory in Gaza City.
