@hynek It’s only a minority of the population for which cilantro has a soapy flavor, for most people, including myself, it tastes rather lovely. In good joints, staff will ask if you like it, before adding it to your dish.

@hynek @tomster yes! it's one of those weird genetic population bifurcations. so, the teams are unfortunately hereditary and not a choice ;)

@hynek for a completely irrelevant data point, I used to hate cilantro but now can't get enough of it 🤷
