So far, has maybe double the number of “systems” at play as Hades, and I actually think that’s a good thing.

It’s really making me think about multi-layered builds for each run, in a way that I didn’t for the first, and means that each run accomplishes some sub-objective of the build, even if the main one isn’t met.

Halp - Grammarly's free 'business' accounts for nonprofits just expired, and i didn't realize it would mean all my "Snippets" (a bank of frequently used formatted text accessible via shortcut) would no longer work (and also be deleted 😭 )

Any alternatives out there to Snippets anyone can share?

Having to cut and paste identical answers to a bajillion PyCon sponsors a week out from the event is cracking my already strained sanity 😭

@lorenipsum If this problem is what it sounds like, TextExpander is a fantastic option and appears to be cross-platform now. (They did move to a subscription style thing at some point but may still offer older versions for d/l? and/or may have better pricing structure than Grammarly did, idk.)

You know how there are fancy names for pretty much every nerd-ass hobby? Vexillology for flag nerds, numismatics for coin collectors, etc.

Is there one for the folks who collect condiment packets?

I ask because a) I know those people exist and b) I can't stop thinking about how much design effort went into these low-sodium soy sauce packets. (The green color may not come across in the photos accurately, but it's really nice.)

ME: hm I should make one (1) change to my programmable keyboard.

30 MINUTES LATER: well, my random weird devicemapper issue went away after uninstalling/reinstalling docker and rebooting a few times, but now docker seems to require root, when it didn't before? wtf

Computers may have been a mistake. (Also, it's amazing how far my desire to tinker with my setup has plummeted now that the community is splintering.)
