I wonder if there really is that many people who do not realize that replying to a stranger on social media spaces is not like replying to a friend. Strangers are unlikely to be able to interpret tone (so try not to be sarcastic), and being overly familiar is just weird
(this hasn't happened to me much, but I see this a lot when I expand replies on other posts here)
edited to add: this is actually a very general problem. I used to see this a lot on twitter too
