"The capitalist world system will likely confront unprecedented “polycrisis” events by the early 2030s – referring to mutually amplifying shocks across the domains of political economy, climate, energy, food, and geopolitics. If left-green movements remain weak in this conjuncture, then dominant responses like today will continue to prioritise short-termist energy and food security strategies that perpetuate ecologically damaging practices."

In this era, for this generation, we must therefore incentivize economic transition to resilient investments, and build resilience into society and its infrastructure.

The most obvious is to remove the incentive to keep developing unsustainable energy supplies.

Government has the power to tax fossil fuel developers and producers, to fund investment in renewable and sustainable energies.

    But when will they?

@systemalias About the time people everywhere have changed their local laws for car free and other measures as resilience to economic shocks climate is imposing and will impose with increasing ferocity.
