Not sure how widely known it is that Cloudflare has a free tier for Pages. There's different options for how to upload static assets but the easiest is to just point it to a branch of a GitHub or GitLab repo and it will auto-pull and deploy when there are changes to it.

@pervognsen dang so I can move my GitHub blog over to cloudflare for free? Just probably gotta pay for a domain or something?

@Wunkolo I don't think you need a custom domain, that's just what I had and it's easy to hook it up to it. Each deployment runs on a subdomain of one of Cloudflare's domains and you just add a route from your custom domain to the subdomain if you want to.

There probably isn't much point compared to using GitHub's own page hosting. I just happened to be moving some domains over from my old registrar to Cloudflare and decided I might as well play with some of their free tier services. The free tier of some of their other services is also pretty generous. Their S3-like service R2's free tier has 10 GB storage and 10 million GETs per month with no cost for egress bandwidth.

@pervognsen do you get more detailed analytics than with GH Pages maybe?

@maxd That's probably true! They definitely have lots of cool dashboard toys in general.
