@protecttruth Those titles for Grim and Scahill are so silly. Grim is not meaningfully a DC bureau reporter, it's just a title for him to pretend he's doing real work.
@protecttruth Depends on which one - Columbia seems very anti-Semitic ("Zionists don't deserve to live," etc.), in ways that make me think of the Milo campus events and the "no means yes, yes means anal" chanting that led universities to start restricting such speech. The people who just fly Palestinian flags and watermelons and even accuse Jews of genocide are a different matter - people who are wrong have free speech too. I should know better about where the NYU protests fall but I don't.
@protecttruth (To be clear, I don't think Columbia as an institution is anti-Semitic; in "Columbia seems very anti-Semitic," "Columbia" was shorthand for "the Columbia protest encampment." But it's one of these issues with so many eyes on it that absence of evidence is evidence of absence; it matters that this is the Public Enemy #1 protest and not the usually more in-the-news Harvard - Columbia really seems atypically bad as far as anti-Zionist US university protests go.)
