I'm not against the idea of a service like LinkedIn existing. But I never made any useful connections through it. No jobs or business opportunities.

LinkedIn is a very useful tool for me but not because of what the app tries to push.

It's just that no amount of new or 'innovative' features a platform crams up its ass is going to do that for you. It's still a lot of work.

The best thing a site like LinkedIn offers is a comprehensive address book for current and potential business contacts.
