With the recent waves of layoffs I can’t help but wonder if running independent businesses is the right decision for many tech types.
It’s not that technology is less valuable.
It’s that companies want to pad their profits with layoffs.
Starting your own thing and owning your own product with multiple customers is a good way to build stability. It’s slow but it’s worth it.
