Almost all councils reporting, and there are more Lib Dem councillors than Conservative ones.

@jackyan Sadly people don't vote Libs in parliamentary elections in UK. Even though they were the only anti-Brexit party, they still garner a fraction of the vote which means nowhere in FPP system. They are perceived as a wasted vote, weak, prevaricating, fuddy old sandal and socks brigade. They do nothing to dispel this. The electorate won't forget being stabbed in the back by them either.

@nf3xn I was just thinking of Clegg. Who now sucks up to Mark Zuckerberg instead. He goes where the money is.

@jackyan Apart from reneging on their promises, politically they are also the only party to stay put ideologically, more or less in the centre. Everyone else swung to the right, Labour passed them and became more right wing than them which was weird af. Half of Labour and half of the Tory candidates are basically where the Libs are but they like power too much so they keep fascist bedfellows.

@nf3xn Iʼve noticed that with the Zionist Sir Phony Blair and the whole Labour establishment. Largely the same shit with different colours.

@jackyan The Blairs just rotten corrupt duo. I nearly choked on my cornflakes when I learned of his 'appointment' as peacemaker. No doubt Labour will get back in and we will all have to unlearn about their shady deals and how good the illegal war was.

@nf3xn The original Tony is looking more and more like the ghoul he is.
(My nickname for Keir Starmer is Sir Phony Blair. Same Thatcherite BS.)

@jackyan Modern Western democracy; you have two main parties which are in reality a fascist and a centrist in a trenchcoat.

nf3xn,
@nf3xn@mastodon.social avatar

@jackyan Of course it did not help the Libs that they got played by Cameron's snap referendum, ever eager to play out enough rope for the British people, they never once let him down.

@nf3xn Tory lite—certainly the coalition showed them to be that.
