@AdaraAstin The precise reason I love him. Alone among the Rat Packers, he seemed never to take himself seriously or to be doing anything more than enjoying himself. His cool has always struck me as being in on the joke, as it were.

Seriously, though, pay attention to any time Nelson Riddle is credited on an album cover. Frank, Ella, Rosie, etc. The man was a genius.
If I recall correctly, Rosie (Clooney) willed all her arrangements—including Nelson’s—to Debby (Boone). Which is such a neat thing to leave to someone.
The type of tangent I’m prone to take: At my sister’s wedding in the early 2000s, Gabri (Rosie’s son, Debby’s husband) swept into the church, asked me ‘Who do I know?’ and then swept in their direction when I pointed. Have wished ever since that I had his sort of efficiency when arriving anywhere haha.
