A while back, I already did some minor investigation into this. I know the device offers "Wi-Fi file transfer", which is an simple HTTP server with some craptastic jQuery, so you can drag-and-drop files. That functionality janked out of some opensource iOS library (don't ask... I don't know either :welp: ).
That webserver offers only client-side protection against inspection of the filesystem. Although I have a feeling, that it's running inside some chroot.
