novenary, recent discussion about "ethical" licenses got me thinking a bit
you can't restrict use with a copyright license, but in general you should try to turn restrictions into obligations❌: "you may not distribute* this software for bigoted purposes"
⭕️: "when distributing this software, you must state that trans rights are human rights"the latter is significantly closer to the OSD, since it's non-discriminatory
I don't know if it would be approved by the OSI, and distros may not like it, but it's in my opinion a much better way to scare asshats away from forking your project without setting yourself up as a liability for your downstreamsat the end of the day though, I'm partial to simply not doing this at all
- remember, copyright licenses only cover the distribution of copies
