Today was Maple Trees Day.
Every year a few seedlings like to volunteer under our Japanese Maple.
So I have put those into pots and made a mix of homemade compost and soil to boost them.
This tree is not only extremely beautiful but the leaves and twigs are a fantastic source of browns for the compost piles.
Having a few mature trees like this would make me entirely self-sufficient.
