johnnydecimal, 1 month ago @MLE_online Corned beef pie! Been making this since I was a kid. Well, mam made it when I was a kid then I grew up then I made it. For a ~12” wide ~1” deep pie pan. Boil 3 large potatoes. Chop a medium onion. Do half quite fine, the other half a bit chunkier. Blind-bake puff pastry on your pie base. When spuds are boiled, drain, add chopped onion, tin of corned beef, good helping of fresh ground pepper. Top with puff pastry. Bake, ~180C for about half an hour. Best cold.

MLE_online, 1 month ago @madpilot i would try this, but they are silly to pretend it takes ten minutes when you would have to cook the corned beef for hours before you could shred it
