If you spend some time looking outside, you'll probably see what I saw a lot this week: small birds, hopping along, with their beaks full of sticks, feathers, and plants, all gathering materials for their nests. Life goes on.
@ianbetteridge Although it does turn out that the smaller doves are capable of nicking all the niger seeds intended for the goldfinches. Cheeky sods. Can’t build nests but can do acrobatics on feeders for much smaller birds.
@snaptophobic Annoyingly there is some hedging that I need to cut back, and now it's going to have to wait for a couple of months just in case there's anything nesting in it!
