Good morning awesome amazing people!!! :)

I hope you’re all having a good start to your week.

Always remember, each and every one of you are loved and needed. Your feelings deserve to be expressed and they matter.

Today we are gonna be talking about The Cheerios Effect.

Cheerios Effect is a phenomenon in fluid mechanics where small solid objects floating on a liquid appear to attract or repel one another. The name comes from the breakfast cereal Cheerios, which tend to clump together or stick to the sides of a bowl when poured into milk. Cheerios are less dense than milk, so they float on the surface. As they press against the top layer, an upward-curving meniscus forms between a Cheerio and the milk. Similarly, the milk also curves at the edge of the bowl. Because floating objects are attracted to the highest point on the surface, Cheerios will appear to be attracted to each other or the edge of the bowl, thereby giving the impression of attraction and repulsion.
