Just...something that Ive always found interesting about Star Wars tech; the mix of digital and analog. You have sentient AI but you're still sending radio transmissions? Wired radio transmissions.
At several points Han and Chewbacca fix incredibly powerful tech (warp drives, etc) by thumping on a bulkhead in just the right place.
That is not the sign of somebody who genuinely knows how things work, just how to make it work.
At Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland there was a barbecue joint that was juked up to be a decommissioned starship drive with a few slave droids turning a carcass on a spit below the exhaust plume
