Led by our Master student Adrian, *AuctentionAR *is a system that enables user's to auction off their visual attention to objects (e.g., advertised products) in their environment through indicators in #augmentedreality. We also addresses the privacy concerns involved and outline considerations for future privacy-conscious development of AR #advertising.
@andresmh Indeed! We're quite aware that this could get nightmarish for users quickly if they don't have some control over what they see. 😅 We're thinking of combining it with GOPHAC (No. 3 in this thread) to (hopefully) prevent that a bit.
