@cydonian For now, but that won't always be the case. Just wait until the next VEI 6-7 volcanic event. Then there'll be a decline of 1.5-4.5 degrees or possibly more depending upon the scale it. That will definitely happen along with a decent sized meteorite of about 15-25 meters striking the earth whether in an ocean or on land.

The average temperature has increased by more than 3C in these parts, and is likely to increase even more. This will cause disruptions for food and accommodation among other things. This is happening now, not in an imagined story universe.
@cydonian This again is the result of deforestation, reducing plant life in-general (I see so many with gravel instead of plants or grass, maybe a tree thrown in here and there), the increase of solar activity, the increase of the animal and human population, etc. It's not all man made, not going to be solved the way they're going about it either and in fact they're creating more pollution in the process and countries like China, North Korea, and others certainly aren't going to comply.
I don't buy into the burden being shifted upon the US or European countries alone while others don't participate, but we're doing plenty. However, every ICE vehicle upon the planet could use less fuel, could emit fewer emissions, but that's not what those in power truly want because if they did, it could have already been accomplished.
