I had the impression that BS was another walled garden.
I also noticed that they continue to ignore the lack of identity and authorization infrastructure that got Twitter in trouble in the first place.
@blaise ahoy! it is true that it has some characteristics of a walled garden currently, but I know some of the people involved and based on that and the design/direction they have expressed as goals I think they are thankfully (or will be) way more than that!
Maybe I'll turn out to be wrong, but I hope not :)
The protocol IIUC is quite flexible w.r.t. identity/authorization, could you expand? Thank you!
