One of the players is now interacting with Alanik Ray's mother (under her assumed name) so I'm interested to see where it goes.
When Chief Constable Osgul was there I did include the detail of her "accidentally" spilling a drink on his shoes and the players rolled high enough insight to realize that was no accident. From her perspective he's responsible for taking away the son she had only just found again then before she could tell him who she actually was.
