An aircraft is very complex.
If there is a safe alternative, i'd take that one. (another person with some or full experience with aircrafts, parachutes, teleporter, ...)

i'd rather trust equipment that was made for such cases.
but if those arent available either, go ahead.
then if someone else with more experience.
and if those arent there either, go ahead. worst case i would die. which i would anyway probably

@MagicLike getting a commercial aircraft safely to the ground in an emergency situation as someone untrained is essentially impossible imo but why not xD

@7331 wdym by impossible if you know how to use the auto pilot (or are instructed to do so), you have actually really good chances of getting the aircraft down onto a runway or am I missing something you mean?

@MagicLike what if you're in bad weather? what if some types of instrument approaches simply cannot be done at the airports reachable?

and also, you're under constant stress which doesn't exactly help xD

@7331 well up until a certain point bad weather isn't really a problem for the auto pilot - anyway this scenario should not happen at all and yes stress does not help :neocat_lul:
