If the prophet is the mouthpiece of God, and God is all knowing, all loving, and never changing, how do LDS members reconcile the heinously racist and sexist things prophets have said, or terrible things they’ve done?

It can’t be that they were products their time if they’re speaking for God and God never changes.

So if that’s not the case, aren’t you admitting that some of the things they say are made up? And if that was the case, how can you assume any of their revelations are true?
