Update Raupenaufzucht: Raupen haben ihre Größe nach der ersten Häutung verdoppelt. Ziemlich sicher ist es der 'kleine Fuchs' (Aglais urticae), jetzt Larvenstadium L2 in einem unserem Aufzuchtkasten. Aktuelle Größe: 6mm.

Caterpillar rearing update: Caterpillars have doubled in size after first molt. Pretty sure it is the 'little fox' (Aglais urticae), now larval stage L2 in our rearing box. Current size: 6mm.

Hmm, a very large dog just came up to the window (outside) here where I am working--about 5 feet way from me--and starting a loud howling for a few minutes, and left. (not my dog).
